Pregnancy: First Quarter

Soon from the moment she becomes pregnant, the woman will suffer a set of diverse transformations and feel the manifestation of various symptoms.

Pregnancy: First Quarter

However, it is normal that this manifestation is different from woman to woman, since while some realize that something is different in her body, others are only aware of the end of menstruation.

When the fertilization of the ovum occurs by the spermatozoid, the egg is formed. This will move to the uterus, while your cells multiply in more cells. When it reaches the uterine cavity, it is fixed to your wall.

From here, it will attach to the wall of the uterus and the mother’s bloodstream through the placenta and umbilical cord.

During the first trimester, the embryo will continue to develop until finally gaining definite shape and having its internal organs formed. At this moment the embryo is renamed fetus.

The first trimester is the height of the pregnancy where the woman notices more changes occurring in her body. The nausea, the end of menstruation, the growth of the breasts, are just some examples. And if there are symptoms that do not involve great discomfort, others, such as morning sickness, can be quite unpleasant.

The following symptoms are for the first trimester, but may also be prolonged throughout pregnancy in some pregnant women.
