The Toshiba Folio 100 must point in the test, whether it is good as a slightly older model for competitive entry into the Tablet world.
The not quite bleeding tablet from Toshiba still opts for Android 2.2. The internal memory is 16 GB large and expandable via SD card. The device is connected to a PC via the Mini-USB port. Alternatively the files via USB on the Tablet come, because the tab also has a USB host port. The screen of the Folio 100 responded but not always as quickly as desired. Another drawback: large display is 10.1 inches while sharp and multi touch capable, but when the viewing angle is not optimal, the image quality suffers.
The Folio 100 equipped with a Tegra 2 processor do computing tasks relatively quickly. But compared to other entry-level models, you must use the four touch keys (search, back, home, menu) with emphasis, to trigger an action.

Toshiba Folio 100: Buy or wait?
At the moment, the Toshiba Folio 100 is (still) a bit too expensive to recommend it as a cheap discontinued model. For less than 300 euros, there is a no longer quite current facilities and high-quality workmanship.
For the price there are better equipped brand devices such as the Motorola Xoom 2 (WI-FI version). Who can live with something cheaper impression or a larger display, is also significantly less expensive devices, such as the Pearl Touchlet X 10 for 230 euro Intenso tab 8 ” for 200 euros.
