Sarvar is a quiet, calm Hungarian thermal resort located near the Austrian border. It became popular thanks to two unique thermal springs, in one of which the water temperature reaches +83 °C.
This resort is considered “pensioner”, there are practically no people under 50 years old here. The city is very quiet and pretty, it has an old fortress, and a favorite place for walking among locals and tourists is a huge arboretum with an area of 16 hectares, where rhododendrons grow. It is believed that even the air there contributes to a speedy recovery.
People come to local sanatoriums to treat skin, rheumatic diseases, sclerosis, as well as diseases of the musculoskeletal system. Local water relaxes the muscles very well, so rest here is recommended for athletes and people engaged in hard physical work.
